Free live entertainment under the tent begins July 31 and continues on select weekends through October
First Light Casino will bring free live music back to East Taunton this summer with the return of Amplified Weekends, an outdoor concert series featuring local favorites, high-energy cover bands, and tribute acts celebrating some of rock and pop music’s biggest sounds.
The series begins Friday, July 31, and will continue on select Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through October. Concert doors open at 5 p.m., with performances running from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is free, and guests must be 21 or older with valid identification.
“We are excited to bring another year of free entertainment to First Light Casino and give people another reason to come together and have a great time,” said Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Chairman Brian Weeden. “First Light has grown so much over the past year, and we are incredibly grateful for the support we have received from our guests and the surrounding community. Amplified Weekends is one way we can say thank you while creating a fun, welcoming place for people to spend their summer nights.”
The confirmed lineup includes:

- Friday, August 7: The Brothers Project, an Allman Brothers Band tribute
- Friday, August 14: Bulletproof
- Friday, August 21: LoVeSeXy tribute 2 the music of Prince
- Saturday, August 22: The Underground
- Saturday, August 29: Total Eclipse of the 80s
- Friday, September 4: The Experiment: A Tribute to Pearl Jam
- Saturday, September 5: 19th Nervous Breakdown, a tribute to The Rolling Stones
- Sunday, September 13: Back in the Day Band
- Friday, September 18: The Freeze Pops
- Friday, September 25: Drive, The Cars Tribute
Additional performances will be announced through October.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and settle in under the tent. Food trucks will be available during the concerts, and the outdoor First Light Bar will be open throughout the evening. Coolers and outside beverages are not permitted.
“The growth we have experienced since opening has been exciting to watch, and we are still only getting started,” said Dan Nuey, a member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Gaming Commission. “Our guests can expect even more entertainment, more food options, more games and experiences that are unique to a Native casino, and plenty of new rewards and perks. We are very excited about what is coming next and look forward to sharing more soon.”
Amplified Weekends is part of First Light Casino’s continued effort to expand entertainment and guest experiences while sharing the hospitality and community values of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe.
